Teams are organized in general geographical areas according to the location of the school listed on the registration. Keep in mind we are not always able to keep everyone as close to home as ideal based on several factors and teams will be comprised of players from multiple schools. All players from the same school will not necessarily be placed on the same team. Home schooled players will be placed according to address.
NO REQUEST POLICY
YSA cannot accommodate requests for placement for any reason including carpooling, scheduling and coach/player preferences.
All team assignments are final and will not be changed for any reason other than for YSA administrative purposes.
YSA’S REFUND POLICY
Players electing to drop from YSA may obtain a refund by emailing YSA no later than the first game. Early notification is appreciated so we can replace the player with someone from the waiting list as quickly as possible. $5.00 is retained by YSA to cover administrative costs.
YSA’S WAITING LIST POLICY
Late registrants will incur a $5 late fee and will be placed on a wait list for possible placement subject to availability. Registrations for the wait list must be done online. Wait list status updates will be sent by email. YSA places more than 80% of wait list registrants, but in the event YSA is unable to place someone by the third game, refunds will be issued by the end of October 5th, to the account used for registration. $5 will be deducted from player registration fees to cover administrative costs.
